Shimano have been a major sponsored partner of Escape Fishing With ET from the Shows inception in the year 2000. John Dunphy the Shimano Australian boss and great mate was a partner for the first Series and 24 years later Shimano are the only rod and reel company that I have ever been involved with.

I have had the support of Shimano through all the many changes to the Television industry, including the start of Foxtel Pay TV, Netflix and Stan as well as the onset of Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. Their support has enabled me to change with the times and create fishing and outdoor content that remains relevant.

Over the 24 years Shimano have also moved, changed and led by example creating fishing product that meets every anglers needs. Rods and reels that are a joy to fish with and many accessories that help anglers catch more fish.
